Independent laboratory testing is one of the ways our customers choose to verify the research materials they receive.
One of our customers has independently submitted multiple samples for third-party laboratory analysis and has continued sharing the resulting COA reports with us.
For a MOTS-C 20mg sample, the independent laboratory reported:
- Peptide Purity: 99.85%
- Identity: Confirmed
- Net Peptide Content: 21.41 mg
- Fentanyl Screen: Not Detected
- Endotoxin Result: 0.2 EU/mL
The laboratory used HPLC-based purity and identity testing and reported the sample identity as MOTS-C.
The same report also included endotoxin testing performed according to USP <85>. The laboratory reported a result of 0.2 EU/mL and noted that endotoxin acceptance limits depend on the product type and matrix for research-use materials.
The customer later submitted additional MOTS-C samples for independent analysis. Another shared COA for a 40mg sample reported 99.66% peptide purity, with identity confirmed.
The customer continued sending us additional laboratory reports and wrote:
“If you want these I’ll keep sending.”
For us, repeated independent testing across different samples provides useful batch-level feedback beyond relying solely on supplier-issued documentation.
We welcome customers who choose to perform their own independent verification and can provide available batch COAs and supporting documentation for reference.
